NUTRIENT BROTH (CALDO NUTRITIVO) MERCK RENDIMENTO 8,0g/l Embalagem 500g Universal culture media for cultivating less fastidious microorganisms. The media comply with the recommendations of the APHA for the examination of foods (1992). According to GRAY et al. (1950) nutrient broth with added 0.05 % potassium tellurite is an excellent enrichment medium for Listeria monocytogenes. Typical Composition (g/litre) Peptone from meat 5.0; meat extract 3.0. Preparation Suspend 8 g nutrient broth/litre, autoclave (15 min at 121 °C). pH: 7.0 ± 0.2 at 25 °C. The plates are clear and yellowish-brown.
